Heresiarh - Dragons of War
Our next stop is in Latvia again and the more bands I get heard of from
this country the more I get fascinated by it. Heresiarh play Dragon Metal
which means melodic BM in an individual and amazing way. The drummer plays
solid, the keys are just used in the right intention, the bass seems a bit
too silence to me - maybe the only bad thing on the tape and the guitars
play a good and important role! The vox are quite frightening and sometimes
they sound as if a insane would stand behind the microphone. But the best
thing on the tape are the fantastic fem. vox which make the whole of the
lyrics - wow, you'll fall in love to this voice, haha. However, to get to
a conclusion: melodic BM sometimes quite fast and a bit trashy with good
sound quality. Oh, I nearly forgot, the whole thing comes with a beautiful
full-color booklet, with all lyrics. Available for 5 bucks at Jānis
